Smith’s, Grand Liqueur Scotch Whisky, Pre-1910
RRP £1,000 Est
This whisky had been imported to the USA before Prohibition by a company that seemed to be trading on the name Smith because of the more famous Smith’s of Glenlivet. However, it was a pleasure to taste – complex, with sweet buttery vanilla, tinned fruit syrup and peach skins, then touches of marzipan on the finish.
