Less complex nose with great hit of eucalypt and mint with some coffee, blackcurrant, scented cedar wood, cigar box. Palate concentrated but less interesting really than the 2012 – dry sour flavour in the mid palate, tannins very soft, some green tobacco leaf. It lacks the charm of the 2012; the length is persistent though possibly drying at end.
