Beautiful deep ruby colour; and a fine expressive nose. On the palate, spicy, dark fruit with notes of molasses, chocolate, clove and earth. The juice flows throughout, fruit gives way to tannin with a dying fall, but upheld still with granular tannins, hints of stalk and spice, the whole restrained but tightly-wound, a sensation of power waiting to be released.
