Red wine
Quilceda Creek, Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
RRP £253
Really perfumed ‘old armoire’ nose, with velvet and exotic spice (a hint of cumin). The palate is bright and open, attractive, charming and full of life. It’s got a nice tannic finish, but the tannins are noticeably lighter than for many wines in this line-up. Lean and pared down, with an unusual crunchiness to the fruit.
