Red wine
Poggio di Sotto 2014
RRP £125
Colle Massari purchased Poggio di Sotto in 2011 and show here that they have no intention of letting the brand’s reputation decline, even if a tough vintage provides an excuse. Floral and intense on the nose, and dense on the palate, but not at the cost of elegance; red currant and cherry on the finish. Still somewhat closed, but will open up.
