Again a lovely nose – dense and fresh – palate tarry, shot through with fine tannins and mouthwatering acidity. I love this – it has the tang of rainwashed bitumen, a slight sourness before gripping, even aggressive tannins holding up plummy, dark fruit. Very, very fine.
