Gorgeous classy nose. Sweet spice, cool on the palate fresh and clean, high notes of tar and roses, easy to keep in the mouth, full of life, textured tannins, almost ready to drink now but with aeons ahead – finish is dark and grainy. The palate is full, very precise with plum and sloe and these deep dark tannins and a very dry length which I hope will go on forever as the fruit comes up.
