Very fine full nose; lots of freshness and biting tannin on the early palate, with juice washing through. The fruit is plum, blackcurrant, sloe, beautifully mitigated by tannin and acidity. This is an exuberant wine, flavours climbing out of the glass and always held in check by a chain-link fence of tannin and acidity. Excellent.
