Fresh notes of pine wood on the nose then a superb dry texture with opulent violet perfume. A really satisfying combination of density and depth with lightness, shot through with dark cassis flavours. Powerful tannins. Austere now, a glittering power (a hard, bright flame), coiled, this is delicious but will be really charming in a couple of years.
