Named after Veronique Drouhin’s daughter who was born three months early, which her mother blames on the fact that she was energetically punching down by hand throughout her pregnancy. Meadow grass turning to hay on the nose, this is a serious wine, structured, bright and acidic, the fruit is fresh, dark, chocolatey, tending to blackberry rather than red cherry, the tannins tight, fresh, tightly wound, the finish dry and concentrated.
