A guest wine, as part of Lidl’s January ‘Wine Tour’, this Left Bank Bordeaux is worth stocking up on because it comes from 2020, an excellent vintage. The lifted nose entices with red berries, violets and gentle sweet spice, while the darker fruited palate has plenty of concentration and reveals some maturity. Serve with roast beef and Yorkshire pudding.
