The nose still has sappiness, hints of tar amongst the bright black fruit. Concentrated and intense, the acidity sets your palate a-tingle most deliciously. The tannins are velvety but robust and full of verve, underpinning lovely blackcurrant and other dark fruits. Succulent and barely out of the starting blocks.
