Subtle freshness. There is fine-ground chocolate with ripe fruit. The cooler deep clays from this estate dealt perfectly with the hot and dry summer. The palate is a bit imposing, but in a good way: a certain element of impenetrability bodes well for ageing. Clearly the depth and density impress.
