Aeration needed to yield subtle aromatics and flavours of ripe blackcurrant, dark red plum and cherry, black tea and mint, finishing long with white floral and orange blossom lift. It requires at least 10 years cellaring, but already it is a star. Special mention must be made for the second wine Petit Cheval (94 points), more approachable at this early stage, displaying savoury brownie and ripe and juicy red fruit.
