Amazing bright ruby, the colour of fresh liver on the slab. The nose has mint and wild dry sage, that lovely chaparral (Napa garrigue). Deep, dense mineral nose. Incredibly young with hint of primary cassis, then tertiary notes of mint and hay, dark chocolate and cocoa nib: classic Rutherford dust. A balanced, bright fresh wine.
