Fresh lovely nose, delicate and sweet with maraschino cherry. Fine haybarn freshness on the palate with any dryness washed with juice. A bright and fresh palate with hints of preserved fruit and stored apple, but it’s short-lived. The fruit falls off quickly and the tannins tighten. Like an old war veteran, it comes out fighting but can’t stay the course.
