Red wine
Altolandon Bobal 2018
RRP £8.95
Bobal is the second most widely planted red variety in Spain after Tempranillo and with wines like this you can see potential for more. Grown at 1100 metres above sea level near Valencia, the Bobal here is unoaked, bringing freshness to a red whose cinnamon spicy aromas lead into a cheerfully juicy mouthful of blackberry-sweet fruit that wouldn’t disgrace a barbecue or black pudding.
