With a poetic name like ‘Paradise Valley’, it’s perhaps surprising that more wines from this southern French appellation haven’t made it to UK shores. However, value-hunters will be glad that this region as yet remains off the radar. With plenty of bright red cherry, redcurrant and wild strawberry notes, this is a soft, rounded and fruit-focused red that’s made for easy drinking. Try serving lightly chilled with a roast chicken or a sharing platter of antipasti.
