Created to celebrate Alexandre Gabriel’s 20th anniversary as master blender, this employs a blend of extra-old rums from Barbados that is given additional maturation in France, in rich Cognac casks. This double ageing has yielded a rounded and smooth note, with hints of cocoa, dried coconut, cedarwood and spice. There is toffee apple on the palate, with vanilla and polished oak. Towards the end, ripe fruits of mango and banana appear. Full-bodied and rich.
