Ata-Rangi-Martinborough-Pinot-Noir

Ata Rangi, Pinot Noir 2004

RRP N/A in UK

Somewhat more “enclosed” than the 2003, the ’04 has a meaty, brambly, dark fruit note with even a hint of manuka honey (another New Zealand export) – I detected a hint of raisin too. Very supple on the palate and really voluptuous. There’s a beguiling all-round mouthfeel here that combines all that gentle embrace with brightness and length.
