This wine is quite the beast. When the year allows it, Philipponnat bottles the wine from the most central plots of its majestic Clos des Goisses vineyard separately. From a sunny and warm, steeply south-facing slope, this 100% Pinot Noir is a wine of power and concentration. Its rich bouquet is sweetly fruity and generously spicy with notable oak influence. A wine of the hot 2010 season, it offers great gastronomic voluptuousness and vinosity. This will reward further cellaring.
