Hine, Rare VSOP

The house of Hine is famed for both its vintage selections and its early landed Cognacs, which were shipped in cask to the UK for maturation, then returned to Cognac for bottling. Hine VSOP draws on Fine Champagne grapes – that is, grapes from both the Grande and Petite Champagne regions. It has a beautiful balance of polished wood, roasted almonds and toasted coffee beans. The palate is balanced with allspice, black cherry and creamy caramel. The finish is dry, medium in length and hinting towards red apples.
