More vanilla on the nose than Glenmorangie’s standard 10 year old, plus apricot aromas and spicy fresh ginger notes. Pleasingly complex on the palate, emphasising peach and apricot flavours, before launching into layers of cinnamon, peppermint, strawberry, and white chocolate. Cake by name, cake by nature. Steer clear of adding a drop of water – it only highlights the tannins from the Tokaji casks.
