One of the more vibrant island malts in Scotland, Talisker is located on the Isle of Skye and is famous for an almost salty, brine-driven note on the nose, which mixes with smoke. In this release, the nose has all of the aforementioned coastal notes, with bright, fresh, fruits. On the palate, there is a stunning balance and mouthfeel that shines with stewed fruits and marmalade. Lovely texture on the finish with lingering smoke and oak. Outstanding.
