Château Talbot

Château Talbot, 2009

RRP £118

Talbot is one of the largest vineyards in Bordeaux, at 102 hectares. Despite its large production, this wine in 2009 is heady, with a masculine, brooding nose. On the palate, it is supple and luscious. The heat of the vintage is discernible, but just reined in – a warm evening rather than midday blaze. The wine has freshness and spicy punch.
