Château Palmer

Château Palmer, 2009

RRP £190

This wine is racy and vital on the nose, with piercing dark fruit that conjures up the piercing dark turrets of the château itself, as depicted in gold on the black label. The wine has a luscious, velvet, caressing texture, and also bright, sparky, zippy fruit. All the ingredients are there, but not necessarily in the right order, for now. My score may be a little conservative.
