Lascombes is always sumptuous and suave, and the 2009 is no exception. The plush, engaging, frank bouquet is of ripe, summer berry fruit. In the mouth it has confident, bright, balanced fruit, and seems perfectly pitched. An attractive wine, with an almost granulated texture.
