Château Gruaud Larose, 2ème cru classé 2009

RRP £64

The most complete Gruaud-Larose I have tasted; the warm vintage seems to have suited it. The wine still maintains an ultra-classical claret nose with eucalyptus and a touch of chocolate. On the palate, it is silky and supple: an utterly delightful texture. A building tannin grip towards finish proves the seriousness of this wine despite its easy attack.
