Château Gazin, 2009

RRP £70

A waft of hot tarmac from a midsummer road trip. Thereafter the bouquet is coiled up and not the most expressive. The palate has concentrated, generous, dark fruit, with an aloof air. The wine is marked by the heat, and not one to slip down easily; it needs more time still.
