Château Clinet 2009

RRP £185

This usually exuberant Pomerol is somewhat muted on the nose in 2009 – this bottle at least – with just a hint of seductive, ripe fruit. In the mouth it is ripe and unctuous, with potent red fruit, and an eager, lifting freshness. There is a satisfying grainy texture on the finish, but a hot aftertaste.
