Château Clerc Milon

Château Clerc Milon, 2009

RRP £86.20

Part of the Mouton Rothschild stable, this is always one of the more feminine Pauillacs (unlike its brother, d’Armailhac). The 2009 is super-refined, with its quivering nose of dark fruit, graphite, and flower petals. Soft satin caresses the palate, with a building intensity of fruit coming through, continuing even beyond spitting onto a long finish.
