Distiller Barney Wilczak at Capreolus is a master of his craft, and this barrel-aged gin is no exception. The base is his classic Garden Swift which uses blood orange zest and lime tree flowers as its main ingredients, giving a wonderfully complex floral and juicy note to the base, which is studded with 32 other botanicals.  This is then aged in rare mulberry wood, adding a delicious spice and sweetness to the gin.  One of the best examples of an oak-aged gin whose ageing doesn’t lead to excessive tannins or dominant wood notes. Perfect for a Negroni.
