Benedikt Baltes, Buntsandstein Spätburgunder, 2016

RRP £12

An immediate hit of elderberry, an edge of nettle and an ethereal headiness make for an aromatic nose. The body is transparent and bright with tart, refreshing Morello cherry. Made mostly from younger vines in Klingenberg and Großheubach, this is vivid and slender.
