A Los Viñateros Bravos
Red wine

A Los Viñateros Bravos, Amigo Piedra 2019

If Cinsault can claim to be capable of greatness in Chile – and I believe it can – then it’s thanks to wines like this world-class red from Leo Erazo, using fruit from 50-year-old vines in the rediscovered Itata Valley. Marrying power, depth and granitic minerality, it’s savoury and rich, with clove spice, raspberry and black cherry fruit and understated concentration.
