Contrada Acurìa is on the northern slope at 600m above sea level and on rich fertile soils: this small vineyard is one of Alberto Graci’s favourites. Fermentation and ageing happen in both concrete and large casks to highlight the bold texture of the wine and integrate the high brisk acidity. This wine expresses a broad mouthfeel and layered texture and should have the ability to develop in bottle for at least five to six years.
