Very perfumed intense sweet violet coming out of the glass, an almost vegetal perfume, fresh and quite intense. The alcohol is noticeable, the tannins are sweet and I get a hint of brett at end palate – not in any way intrusive and complementing rather than marring the overall sense of dry red fruit. The finish foreshortened as the tannins dry out and compromise the freshness
