Château Figeac, 1er grand cru classé 2010

RRP £201.60

Immediately exotic, the bouquet is all spice market and damask rose, with a deep core of dark fruit – damson and blackberry, lending it a sense of inky blackness. On the palate, there is an absolutely stunning, oh-so Figeac grosgrain ribbon texture to it. You chew this, and it keeps on giving. Satisfaction in a glass. A regal wine, worthy of Figeac’s exceptional terroir and of this outstanding vintage.
