Nose: a big waft of smoke rises from the glass, it is a mossy, earthy smoke that gives elements of chamois leather, suede and petrichor.
Palate: more peaty smoke on the palate, it is backed with some notes of bluebird toffee, hints of cardamom, and some black cherry fruit notes.
Finish: long, warming and lingering elements of bonfire smoke and black forest gateaux.
